SERVANT girls Alex and Kat are doing a Sexy Pictorial!!!

The Del Maestro sisters from Servant, Gabriel's gal-pal Alex and academic rival Katsuko, will be featured at Online "Lad's Mag" Hot Damn It! soon! While I am usually overprotective of my characters, I thought it would be a kick to do and provided the site with mock interviews and photos.

Viewer discretion: Hot Damn It! contains content and images recommended for mature audiences. So yes, the girls will be in revealing and sexy, bikinis and lingerie, but done artistically and tastefully.

You can check the site here before the Servant article goes live here: http://www.hotdamnit.com/

Last issue, Servant prevented a nuclear weapon launched by the South East Kinchan Empire from causing untold damage to Philippine shores. However, this also earned him the ire of that nation's Mighty Ruler who has sworn vengeance!

Now Gabriel Barreon/Gal Ang must face the reality that interfering with international politics has dire repercussions. Branded as a saboteur, the Mighty Ruler has declared holy war on him and his entire country! How does this affect his life as an ordinary teenager, as a citizen, and as a superhero? Will his adoptive parents understand? Plus, more of Viktor Del Maestro and his children, the beautiful and sexy Alex and Katsuko! And what new secrets will begin to unfold? Find out in this second installment of Servant's adventures!
This special issue features layouts by Gilbert Monsanto (Rambol, Bayan Knights, Hellcop, Houdini) and a free Servant themed 2013 Calendar!

Born of gods, raised by mortals, Servant fights for justice, truth, and all that good stuff you memorize in "Values Education" when you were a kid. But he's young and naive, so he makes mistakes just like you and me. Follow his adventures and exploits, his victories and defeats in the ongoing Servant digital comic!

Cybercrime law and the evils that can stem from it

R.A. 10175, the Cybercrime Law, has many good points. It provides protection for cyberbullying, identity theft, child pornography, hacking, etc. But all the good has been tarnished by the inclusion of Cyber-libel and provisions that give undue and overwhelmingly easy to abuse powers that would shackle our freedom of expression and rights to privacy. The worst part is allowing monitoring and seizure of your private information online without due process and a court order.

The

y say that we have nothing to worry about. They say we should just ignore it. But as the image above says: All it takes for evil to win, is for good to do nothing.

If the only way to prevent oppression and abuse of power is to scrap the Cybercrime law, along with all the good it could have done, then so be it and start over. You have the power to make it happen. The government should serve you, the people, not the other way around. Fight for your right to freedom of expression, information, and protection of your privacy. You are the heroes! Servant believes in you!

SERVANT #2 UPDATE

The second issue of the (ideally) bi-monthly Servant comic has been delayed due to uncontrollable circumstances. In the meantime, you can still grab the first issue of Servant through Amazon.com, Drivethrucomics.com or through Graphicly.com . Hopefully, the second issue will be out by October, in time for the annual Komikon. Thank you and keep supporting Philippine Komiks!

Been meaning to post this since May for my Zeamay's birthday, but I keep forgetting or retouching something in postwork. Anyway, here it is.

Zheya is a "dream child" who by chance or predestiny, became lost on Earth. She has elven-like at
tributes (pointy ears, unusual eye color). With a touch, she can put mortals to sleep and she can perform a dream dance where she can interact with the dreams of people. She also wields a weapon (pictured) that is a cross between a sword and a chakram. She joined the Bayan Knights to both find her way and help people along the way.

SERVANT AND DARNA FANART!!!

Fan art of Darna and Servant in a team-up against whatever villains you can imagine would be on the other side.

I heard that ABS-CBN acquired the rights for the next DARNA iteration and that Angel Locsin will play her again.

I got the urge to create a Darna piece and how she and Servant would look together. I tried to pay homage to all the previous versions of Darna and my own ideas. I didn't want her to look like a specific actress, but what my view of what an "ideal" Darna would look like. Borrowed some ideas from Alex Ross's version of Captain Marvel/Shazam.

Darna created by Mars Ravelo (and I think Nestor Redondo should be credited for the final design, too). Darna is owned by the Ravelos. All rights reserved to them.
